IMG_6354Group Exercise

In addition to being a highly regarded personal trainer, I also teach a wide variety of group exercise classes. All of my classes are designed and implemented by me. They are all dynamic, innovative and fun. I try to cater the classes to a wide variety of participants an can modify movements to meet anyone’s needs. While my classes can be intense, anyone can take the classes and work at their own pace. Below you will find a list of classes, as well as a current schedule with locations.

Peak Conditioning- Train like an athlete with this complete total body workout. Peak Conditioning leaves no stone unturned when it comes to fitness. The class seamlessly combines power, speed, agility, balance, core and strength training (with some ultimate abs sprinkled in) for a complete workout. If you want to get into the best shape of your life, this is the class for you

Drills- Drills is a new fitness class designed completely from the ground up to provide unique, intense and fun workout. The concept of Drills is unique to the fitness industry. It’s a hybrid of boot camp, body weight and athletic training. The goal of the class is to mimic training for a specific sport. Each class focuses on a different sport and different components of fitness making each class unique.

Tabatas (High Intentity Interval Training)- Tabata training utilizes the HIIT (high intensity interval training) method to produce the best results in the shortest time possible. It is an interval training workout which works by mixing periods of high intensity activity with short rests. A typical tabata  workout lasts 30 minutes but you get the same benefits as an hour of most other group exercise classes. Another great part about the class is that the music is set up specifically for the class and tells you when to start and when to rest.

Kickboxing Boot camp- This is an intense total body workout incorporating basic boxing/ kickboxing techniques with conditioning and agility drills. Depending on the location, some classes use light pad work and heavy bag work. While it’s a great workout, it is not a class that will teach you self defense or how to fight, just come to throw some punches, kicks and be ready to work hard.

Complete Abs & Stretch- Unlike most and classes which primarily focus on one muscle, this class works the entire abdominal wall as one functional unit. Borrowing from pilates, martial arts and a host of other modalities, this class focuses on developing a strong core and works all the muscles of the trunk. Working the core as one unit accomplishes both the aesthetic goals as well as the functional ones by decreasing back pain, increasing abdominal strength and posture.

Real Body Sculpting- Many body sculpting classes focus on a high repetitions with light weights which is exactly the way not to sculpt your body. This class uses scientifically proven methods of weight training and body sculpting to increase muscle tone and definition.

Strength & Conditioning- This strength and conditioning class uses the most up to date methods of athletic training. Whether you are an elite athlete or just trying to stay in shape, this class is a great way to push yourself to your limits. The focus is on speed, agility, quickness and power. Classes can be modifies to fit any fitness level.

Create your own class- If you have a group looking for group exercise simply ask yourself, “What is the goal for this class?” We can then sit down and design a class to meet your needs. I have experience working with many populations and can design something that caters to the needs of a specific group.
